These devices contain two independent 5-input positive-NOR gates. Theyperform the Boolean function Y = A + B + C + D + E\ in positivelogic.

The SN54S260 is characterized for operation over the full military temperaturerange of -55°C to 125°C. The SN74S260 is characterized for operationfrom 0°C to 70°C.
