description
These octal bus transceivers are designed for asynchronous two-waycommunication between data buses. These devices transmit data fromthe A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, depending onthe logic level at the direction- control (DIR) input. The output-enable () input can be used to disable thedevice so the buses are effectively isolated.
The SN54ALS1245A is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. TheSN74ALS1245A is characterized for operation from 0°C to70°C.
