This 9-bit transceiver is designed for asynchronous two-waycommunication between data buses. The control-function implementationallows for maximum flexibility in timing.

This device allows data transmission from the A bus to the B busor from the B bus to the A bus, depending on the logic levels at theoutput-enable (,,, and ) inputs.

The SN74ALS29863 is characterized for operation from 0°C to70°C.
