The 'AHCU04 contain six independent inverters. These devicesperform the Boolean function Y = A\. Internal circuitry consists ofsingle-stage inverters that can be used in analog applications suchas crystal oscillators.

The SN54AHCU04 is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. TheSN74AHCU04 is characterized for operation from -40°C to85°C.
