description

These devices contain six independent inverters. They perform theBoolean function Y = A\ in positive logic. The open-drain outputsrequire pullup resistors to perform correctly. They may be connectedto other open-drain outputs to implement active-low wired-OR oractive-high wired-AND functions.

The SN54HC05 is characterized for operation over the full militarytemperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The SN74HC05 ischaracterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
