Data Sheet Abstract

SN54HC132, SN74HC132 QUADRUPLE POSITIVE-NAND GATES WITH SCHMITT-TRIGGER INPUTS

SCLS034C - DECEMBER 1982 - REVISED MAY 1997

Please be aware that an important notice concerningavailability, standard warranty, and use in critical applications ofTexasInstruments semiconductor products and disclaimers theretoappears at the end of this data sheet.

features

description

Each circuit functions as a NAND gate, but because of the Schmittaction, it has different input threshold levels for positive- andnegative-going signals. The 'HC132 perform the Boolean function or in positive logic.

These circuits are temperature compensated and can be triggeredfrom the slowest of input ramps and still give clean jitter-freeoutput signals.

The SN54HC132 is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The SN74HC132is characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
