These identity comparators perform comparisons of two 8-bit binaryor BCD words. An output-enable ()input may be used to force the output to the high level.

The SN54HC688 is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The SN74HC688is characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
