The ´ABT16828 is an inverting 20-bit buffer composed of two10-bit sections with separate output-enable signals. For either10-bit buffer section, the two output-enable (1 and 1or 2 and 2) inputs must both be low for thecorresponding Y outputs to be active. If either output-enable inputis high, the outputs of that 10-bit buffer section are in thehigh-impedance state.

To ensure the high-impedance state during power up or power down, should be tiedto V_CC through a pullup resistor; the minimum value of theresistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of thedriver.

The SN74ABT16828 is available in TI's shrink small-outline package(DL), which provides twice the I/O pin count and functionality ofstandard small-outline packages in the same printed-circuit-boardarea.

The SN54ABT16828 is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. TheSN74ABT16828 is characterized for operation from -40°C to85°C.
