features
- State-of-the-Art BiCMOS Design Significantly Reduces ICCZ
- ESD Protection Exceeds 2000 V Per MIL-STD-883C, Method 3015; Exceeds 200 V Using Machine Model (C = 200 pF,R = 0)
- B Port Has Equivalent 33-
Series Resistors, So No External Resistors Are Required - Package Options Include Plastic Small-Outline (DW) and Shrink Small-Outline (DB) Packages and Standard Plastic 300-mil DIPs (N)
description
The SN74BCT2245 octal transceiver and line/MOS driver is designedfor asynchronous communication between data buses.
The device allows data transmission from the A bus to the B bus orfrom the B bus to the A bus depending upon the logic level at thedirection-control (DIR) input. The output-enable () input can disable the devices sothat both buses are effectively isolated.
The B-port outputs, which are designed to source or sink up to 12mA, include 33-
seriesresistors to reduce overshoot and undershoot.
The SN74BCT2245 is characterized for operation from 0°C to70°C.
