These 10-bit bus transceivers are designed for asynchronouscommunication between data buses. The control-function implementationallows for maximum flexibility in timing.

These devices allow data transmission from the A bus to the B busor from the B bus to the A bus, depending upon the logic levels atthe output-enable ( and ) inputs.

The outputs are in the high-impedance state during power-up andpower-down conditions. The outputs remain in the high-impedance statewhile the device is powered-down.

The SN54BCT29862B is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. TheSN74BCT29862B is characterized for operation from 0°C to70°C.
