description

These octal buffers and line drivers are designed specifically toimprove the performance and density of 3-state memory addressdrivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters.

The 'ACT241 are organized as two 4-bit buffers/drivers withseparate complementary output-enable (1 and 2OE) inputs. When 1 is low or 2OE is high, the devicepasses noninverted data from the A inputs to the Y outputs. When1 is high or 2OEis low, the outputs are in the high-impedance state.

The SN54ACT241 is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. TheSN74ACT241 is characterized for operation from -40°C to85°C.
