Data Sheet Abstract

54ACT11470, 74ACT11470 8-BIT REGISTERED BUS TRANSCEIVERS WITH 3-STATE OUTPUTS

SCAS207 - D4016, APRIL 1993

features

description

The ´ACT11470 is an 8-bit registered bus transceiver thatcontains two sets of D-type flip-flops for temporary storage of dataflowing in either direction. Separate clock (CLKAB or CLKBA) andoutput-enable ( or ) inputs are provided for eachregister to permit independent control in either direction of dataflow.

The A-to-B enable ()input must be low in order to enter data from A or to output data toB. If both and CLKAB arelow, then the B port presents the level of the A port prior to themost recent low-to-high transition of CLKAB. Data flow from B to A issimilar, but requires the use of , CLKBA, and inputs.

To avoid false clocking of the flip-flops, and should not be switched from low tohigh while CLK is low.

The 54ACT11470 is characterized for operation over the fullmilitary temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The74ACT11470 is characterized for operation from -40°C to85°C.

[dagger] A-to-B data flow is shown: B-to-A flowis similar but uses ,CLKBA, and .
