EPIC is a trademark of Texas Instrumentsdescription
The octal bus transceiver is designed for asynchronous two-waycommunication between data buses. The control-function implementationminimizes external timing requirements.
The device allows data transmission from the A bus to the B bus orfrom the B bus to the A bus, depending on the logic level at thedirection-control (DIR) input. The output-enable input can be used to disable thedevice so that the buses are effectively isolated.
The 74ACT11245 is characterized for operation from -40°C to85°C.
