COMPENSATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THE TLS223X PHASE-LOCKED LOOP

This document describes the TLS223x servo-combine predriver, its state machine, phase comparator, and voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO).
The TLS223x uses a phase-locked loop (PLL) to commutate a spindle motor. The selection of compensation values ensures the proper operation of the PLL. An example of the selection process for the TLS223x

is provided.
