REAL-TIME WAVELET-BASED VIDEO COMPRESSION SYSTEM USING MULTIPLE TMS320C40'S

This document implements a video coding system of quarter common intermediate format (QCIF) (180 ×144 pixels) using the TMS320C4x parallel processing development system (PPDS). This document describes the PPDS real-time functions of decomposition, quantization, and reconstruction of video frames. The appendix contains the TMS320C4x 32-bit parallel digital signal processor (DSP) assembly and C source code to implement this application.
