TCM320AC3X/4X VOICE-BAND AUDIO PROCESSORSThe voice-band audio processor (VBAP) family of devices is a line of highly specialized single supply voice-codecs designed for use in battery-powered personal communication systems. This document describes the TCM320AC3x/4x principles of operation, the receive channel, the timing and clocking of the devices, and the data rate modes. An application example is provided for interfacing the VBAP to a DSP.
