IS-54 DIGITAL CELLULAR PHONE: A FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS

This document presents the functional components of a dual-mode cellular phone as specified by the CTIA IS-54 standard. Each functional component, transmitter, receiver, coordinator, antenna assembly, and control panel is discussed and the relevant algorithm given. For each algorithm the data structures used and the appropriate the implementation details are provided.
