USE OF THE TMS320C5X INTERNAL OSCILLATOR WITH EXTERNAL CRYSTALS OR RESONATORS

The TMS320C5x high-speed 16-bit fixed-point DSP allows considerable flexibility to meet a wide range of clock requirements. This document provides information on crystal and ceramic resonators, their frequency characteristic, a background on oscillators, and the type of oscillator circuit to use on the TMS320C5x.
