USB POWER DISTRIBUTION USING THE TPS2014 AND TPS2015 POWER DISTRIBUTION SWITCHES

The TPS2014 and TPS2015 power distribution switches integrate all the functions required for universal serial bus (USB) power distribution in a single, cost-effective package. These devices provide fast fault clearing with overcurrent logic output for hub/host fault notification. This document describes the TPS2014 and TPS2015 switches and the principles of USB power distribution. The appendices provide the results of fault and transient load testing of the switches.
