MICROCONTROLLER BASED DATA ACQUISITION USING THE TLC2543 12-BIT SERIAL OUT ADC

This document describes the construction of a 12-bit data acquisition system using the TLC2543, serial-out analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and four different microcontrollers, the TMS370, the H8/300, the 68HC11, and the 80C51. This document provides the interface circuit for each of the microcontrollers and the assembler code listings for each interface. An overview of analog considerations for board layout is provides along with a grounding and coupling scheme for the board.
