THE BERGERON METHOD A GRAPHIC METHOD FOR DETERMING LINE REFLECTIONS IN TRANSIENTThe users of fast, modern, logic systems must closely consider the effect of line reflections on the system. This document describes the Bergeron method of determining line reflections in a system. Typical examples of its use and the results it produces are provided. The appendix contains Bergeron diagrams for no line termination and line termination by resistor, by series resistor, and resistor network.
