ACCESSING THE TNETA1500 CONTROL REGISTERS WITH THE TNETA1570 SAR

This document shows system, board, and software designers how to use the SAR2PHY field programmable gate array (FPGA) to access the TNETA1500 control register through the TNETA1570 control-memory interface (CMI). Descriptions of the TNETA1570 CMI, TNET1500 controller interface, and a hardware description of the SAR2PHY FPGA are provided. The appendix contains an example of the Verilog code showing a method for accessing the registers of TPC1200 FPGA using the TNET1570.
