AN IEEE 1149.1 BASED LOGIC/SIGNATURE ANALYZER IN A CHIP

This document describes an IEEE 1149.1-based test integrated circuit (IC) referred to as a digital bus monitor (DBM), which emulates the functions of logic and signature test instruments. The DBM provides an embedded method of monitoring circuits at speed either on the board or at the multi-chip module level. A basic understanding of the IEEE 1149.1 standard is assumed.
