MIXED 3.3-V AND 5-V SYSTEMS WITH LVT LOGIC

Low voltage (LVT) devices solve the need for transparent interfacing between low-voltage and 5-V devices by providing for mixed-signal operation. This document provides an overview of the low voltage market, the migration to 3.3 V, mixed-mode operation, and the characteristics of the LVT family.
