Tips for Searching TI DSP Documentation

Our DSP search engine gives you several options to perform a full-text search to locate documents containing your desired information.

Input of search keywords:

If you enter a phrase of several words, the search engine will attempt to make an exact match:
      starter kit

You get the same results putting the phrase in quotes:
      "starter kit"

Separate the words by AND to locate documents that contain all of the words anywhere in the document:
      starter AND kit

Separate the words by OR to locate documents that contain any of the words anywhere in the document:
      starter OR kit

Scoring of search results:

Each page is given a Score based on the location and frequency of appearance of your Keywords within the page. Pages that contain more of your Keywords will have a higher Score than pages that only contain a few Keywords. The Search Results are then displayed in a list ranked by Score.

Exceptions:

Hyphenated words may not return correct results. The solution is to input the keywords without a hyphen:
      fixed point       instead of:       fixed-point

If you are looking for other Semiconductor Data Sheets, there is a separate search utility that will quickly locate a data sheet by part number or function.
