Digital Signal Processing Solutions
Blue Band

Unison™ System
by Multiprocessor Toolsmiths Inc.

Software Overview

Unison is a complete solution for DSP system building. From an extensive development environment,
to an ultra-fast scalable kernel, Unison has it all: language compilers, fault isolation/diagnosis
tools, simulation and application generation tools, multiprocessor and multilingual debuggers,
signal-processing algorithm libraries, and the most proven multiprocessor real-time operating
system on the market. And they all work together. Seamlessly.
Unison grows with you—from development for a single processor to the integration of large-scale
systems with different processors types. A uniform application-program interface (API) covers all
system components and processors. And all applications act as part of a single virtual system from
algorithm execution, TCP/IP network interfacing, to X-Windows terminal display. Unison really does
make the job easier.
Unison conforms to open industry standards, providing portability and software re-use. Unison is
UNIX, pSOS+™, and VxWorks™ compatible and is also Posix compliant.
