XOVER-4W/M 1.00
(Code S003-95-572-100)
by S.E.E.D.
Software Overview
TMS57002 implementation of a four-way mono cross-over, it accepts linear 16-bit data. The
cross-over consists in four filters: a low-pass filter with high-cut frequency variable from 31.5
Hz to 800 Hz; two band-pass filters with low- and high-cut frequencies variable from 31.5 Hz to 16
kHz; and a high-pass filter with low-cut frequency variable from 1 kHz to 16 kHz; optionally it is
possible to insert also a high-pass filter with low-cut frquency of 15 Hz useful to eliminate
subsonic noise. With the cross-over it is possible to correct a phase error on each output channel
introducing a 5-ms maximum delay reachable using 21-ms steps.
Features and Benefits
• Hi-Fi quality, up to 48-kHz sampling frequency
• Possibility to transform the four-way cross-over in a two- or three-way cross-over
Processor and System Requirements
• TMS57002-based systems, using 32-kwords RAM minimum
Usage Limitations or Performance Considerations
• Real-time for 48-kHz sampling frequency
Algorithm Verification
• Write directly in DASP 57002 assembly code.
• The calculated output of the algorithm matches with the laboratory measures.
Availability
