ADPCM 1.00
(Code S001-94-C25-100)
by S.E.E.D.
Software Overview
TMS320C2x implementation of CCITT G.726 reccomendation, it accepts linear 14-bit data. It is
possible to use it to compress voice files previously recorded, or to compress voice data in
real-time. Translate received data into 4-bit ADPCM format and vice versa.
Features and Benefits
• 14-bit linear I/O
• Real-time half duplex
Processor and System Requirements
• TMS320C2x-based systems, 40-MHz or faster. Needs A/D and D/A converter (8-kHz sampling frequency)
for real-time operation. Doesn't need converter to compress recorded file.
Usage Limitations or Performance Considerations
• Real-time for 8-kHz sampling frequency. Half-duplex only, now.
• Product reliability: Complies with the G.726 standard.
Availability
