Software Overview

The Embedded I/O Components is a library of individual off-the-shelf software modules that 
implement the following standard software algorithms: TCP/IP, Bootp, RPC, NFS, LAPB, SDLC, HDLC, 
MIL-STD 1553, and an MS-DOS Version 3.2 File System. Embedded I/O Components have already been 
integrated with the Precise Real-Time Executives. A software developer uses a component by 
interfacing the application program to the function calls provided by the component and then simply 
linking an executable application that includes a Precise Real-Time Executive and the required 
component library. The Embedded I/O Components are purchased individually and include example 
drivers for commonly-used devices.
