Software Overview

Nyvalla DSP's Aladdin Interactive DSP Workbench™ is a graphical time-domain block diagram editor 
running under Microsoft Windows. It is the model design tool for Nyvalla DSPs' Aladdin Executive™ 
high-performance object-oriented DSP command interpreter. It contains full support for implementing 
real-time models within the audio frequency range. Extensive parameter control is provided, direct, 
file, and MIDI. Board access is provided by Nyvalla DSP's DSPgate™ API for Microsoft Windows.

•	Required:
Program memory: `C3x: 12 kwords
Data memory, `C3x: Model dependent, at least 20 kwords recommended
Processor loading: Model and board dependent, indicated at run-time
•	Sampling rate: 4–48 kHz (recommended)

Company Background and Contact Information

AB Nyvalla DSP was founded by Lennart Neovius and Sten Ternström to market and develop their 
interactive DSP solution, a spin-off from their research at KTH, Dept. of Speech Communications and 
Music Acoustics in Stockholm.
The founders of AB Nyvalla DSP have over 30 staff years of experience of voice- and music-signal 
processing, DSP hardware and software development for research, telecommunications, and handicap 
applications in both commercial and academic settings.
