Analog TV Vestigial
Side Band Modulator
by M.B. International S.r.l.
Software Overview
The Analogue TV Vestigial Side Band (VSB) modulator algorithm create an RF carrier modulated with a
video signal according to CCIR specifications.
The input is a digital component or composite video signal.
The output signal has high precision band shaping and phase pre-distortion.
Spurious are lower then in analog circuits with SAW filters.
Black level, sync level, white level have absolute stability giving superior video quality.
Linearity pre-distortion can be applied if used to drive power stages.
Teletext, ITS, and ghost canceling signals can be added.
Features and Benefits
Cost comparable to analog
Program is downloaded to internal RAM for fast execution
