Software Overview

PSTN Driver is a device driver for HausWare, designed to provide all the low-level call control and 
signaling services required on an analog phone line.
Supported capabilities in the PSTN driver include DTMF detect and generate, configurable-call 
progress monitoring, MF detection, SIT, pulse-dial generation, wink/hookflash, activity detection, 
loop current, ring detection, etc.

•	`Pick and choose' capabilities to reduce MIPS and ROM usage.
•	Fully re-entrant, each extra port requires only small additional RAM space

Processor and System Requirements

Runs on Texas Instruments TMS320C5x family of DSPs.

None

Algorithm Verification

DTMF detection passes Mitel and Bellcore specs.

Availability

Immediately on 'C5x. Can easily be ported to 'C2xx and other TI fixed-point DSPs.
