So quickly reviewing the definitions, a fetch packet is eight 32-bit instructions. The VLIW is very long instruction word. EP, or execute packet, is a group of parallel instructions. Each instruction contains a 32-bit op code, and VelociTI is TI's VLIW architecture with execute packets.
