TMS320C16 Features

The 'C16 is the fastest 'C1x-generation device. It has a 114-ns instruction cycle.

The TMS320C16 is object-code compatible with the TMS320C10.

The 'C16 offers extended memory space with 8K 16-bit words of internal program ROM and 256 16-bit words of internal data RAM. In addition, the external address reach is increased to 64K 16-bit words, the largest of the 'C1x-generation devices.

The TMS320LC16 offers a 3.3-V (low-voltage) alternative to the standard 5-V device.
