TMS320 Third-Party Program Mark
Usage Guidelines

January 1997

The Program

The TMS320 Third-Party Program is designed to assist TMS320 third parties in promoting their products and services.

The Mark

The TMS320 Third-Party Program Mark is designed to increase customer recognition of TMS320 Third Parties as providers of support for, or products based on, TI's TMS320 line of digital signal processors. The mark can be used on all promotional materials that meet the program rules.

For example, TMS320 Third-Party Program members can use the mark on:
VideosMailersCatalogs
BrochuresPresentationsSpec Sheets
World Wide Web SitesProduct PackagingTradeshow Graphics
AdvertisementsProduct BulletinsTraining Materials
Data SheetsLetterheadUser Guides
FlyersCD ROMsGiveaways

And other materials used to promote your TMS320 based products or services.

The Graphic Rules

The TMS320 Third-Party Mark graphic rules are designed to ensure consistent use of the mark by program members. The benefit of consistent use is in the building of rapid customer recognition of members of the TMS320 Third-Party Program who use the mark.

To ensure visual integrity, the minimum size for the mark is 5/8 inch (16 mm) on a side.

The Mark may be used as a positive (black on white) or negative (white on black) image.

The Mark may only appear in black and white.

The Mark has been designed with a set amount of clear space around it so that it can appear in various media without being overwhelmed by other visuals. This clear space is 1x the height of the TI logo that appears on the Mark, at the size the mark is used at in each particular instance.

Except for sizing, the Mark may not be altered or modified in any way.

Camera-ready art of the Mark is available from TI.

The Program Rules

The TMS320 Third-Party Program Mark is for the exclusive use of members of the TMS320 Third-Party Program.

The Mark may be used by any TMS320 Third-Party Program member to promote or market that member's products or services. Materials that make use of the Mark include (but are not limited to) advertisements, literature, videos, tradeshow graphics, direct mail, or other promotional or marketing materials.

The Mark cannot be used on any advertisements, literature pieces, videos, tradeshow graphics, direct mailers, or other promotional or marketing materials that contain text, illustrations or photographs that identify by product name, part number or company name any competing product to Texas Instruments TMS320 DSP products.

A sample of any advertisement, literature piece, video, tradeshow graphic, direct mailer, or other promotional or marketing material that contains the Mark must be sent to the TI TMS320 Third-Party Program Manager.

TI does not grant or imply any endorsement or warranty of any TMS320 Third-Party Program member's products or services in exchange for the use of the TMS320 Third-Party Program Mark.

TMS320 Third-Party Program members who use the Mark agree to not promote, advertise or sell TI products under any mark or name other than the appropriate TI trademarks and trade names, or use any TI trademarks or trade names as part of its public title of that or any subsidiary, division or branch, or adopt any existing TI trademark or trade name or act in any other way which might result in public deception or confusion as to the fact that TI is the source of the products and services and that TI and the TMS320 Third-Party Program member are separate and independent entities.
