Eighth Annual Texas Instruments TMS320 Educators Conference DSPS Fest '98, incorporating the annual TMS320 Educators Conference, is soliciting contributed papers in the areas of Digital Signal Processing listed below. Each paper should describe in detail, the use of a TMS320 DSP in a listed signal processing application and may cover single or multiple research projects, or a teaching activity. An abstract of the paper written in English should be submitted no later than May 8, 1998. It should be no longer than one page, and include the author's name, address, email address (if available), phone number and a brief overview of the paper. Those papers which cover innovative research and/or DSP curriculum will be given preference. Authors will be notified of acceptance for presentation by May 29, 1998. Completed manuscripts are due by June 19, 1998. Papers will be selected for presentation in one of three ways: Formal Presentation, Poster Session, or Classroom-based Workshop. Formal presentations will have 20 minutes each. The audience for the presentation will include professors and TI Third-Parties. All papers accepted for presentation will appear in the conference proceedings and may also appear in other TI publications.
