With the release of version 4.0 of fuzzyTECH R MCU-320, users can now evaluate fuzzy logic design with the TMS320C5x DSP Starter Kit (DSK). fuzzyTECH supports assembly code generation for the 'C5x DSK assembler, allowing low-cost evaluation of fuzzy logic designs. The fuzzyTECH Explorer software (at U.S. $199 suggested resale), with the TMS320C5x DSP Starter Kit (sold separately for U.S. $99 suggested resale), provides the software and hardware needed to formulate fuzzy rule sets, optimize the system, generate assembly source code, and download and run the code.
Version 4.0 of fuzzyTECH includes enhancements such as a new 3D Analyzer with real-time tracing for rule base verification, improved Variable Editors with extended functions, "Statistics Debug"and "Serial Debug" modes, and remote debugging over the serial port. Other new features include M code generation for Matlab/Simulink TM, DLL/DDE support for integrating fuzzyTECH with other design software, and a Fuzzy Design Wizard for automated prototype generation.
